Reta Jean Edwards, 45, Haleyville, passed away Friday, Aug. 30, 2013, at Lakeland Community Hospital, Haleyville.

Reta loved going to play Bingo and visiting with her friends. She loved her family very much and will be missed by all.

Funeral services were Monday, Sept. 2, 2013, at Ephesus Baptist Church, Pebble community. Officiating at the service was Bro. Jeff Whitten. Burial was in Old Enon Cemetery, Lynn.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Michael Dane Garrison; sons, Carl Wayne Edwards, Cody Dane Garrison and wife, Amanda; daughters, Christal LaShae Edwards, Charity Nichole Garrison and husband, Brandon Rose, Courtni Maree Garrison, Caroline LaRae Garrison; grandchildren, Devin Max Williams, Dawton Wayne Williams, Jadden Carter Williams, Jada Rose Williams, Emma Jean Garrison; brothers, Robert Ray Edwards and wife, Patricia Lynn, Rickey Wayne Edwards and wife, Wanda; sisters, Carolyn “Renae” Edwards and Junior Garrison, Ramona Edwards Siquina and husbamd, Diego; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Ray Edwards; mother, Betty Jean Farris Edwards; granddaughter, Kylie Nichole Rose; brother, Randall Roy Edwards.

The pallbearers were Carl Garrison, Cody Garrison, Brandon Rose, Justin Garrison, Daniel Busby, Avis Garrison, James Kennedy and Timmy Garrison.
