Gerald Lee Gregory, 64, Russellville, passed away Friday, Aug. 2, 2013, at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Ilda Jean Gregory.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013, at Akins Funeral Home with Bro. Shawn Reathford officiating. The military causalty assistant team presented military honors for his service in Vietnam. Interment was in Knights of Pythias Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Sara Bryant; step-children, Kaye Madden and husband, Anthony, Harold Bryant; six siblings; numerous step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; one step-great-great grandchild.

He was a Vietnam veteran and served as VA Post Commander while living in Ohio.
