Linda Hall Snider, 52, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Cedar Rapids.

A celebration of life service was held Thursday, July 18, 2013, at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Cedar Memorial’s Certified Staff Celebrant Jim Parton officiated.  Private graveside services will be held at Sparks Cemetery in Vina.

Survivors include her three children, Brian Snider of Evansville, Ind., Kathleen Snider of Walford, Ind., and Matthew Snider of Walford, Ind.; sister, Laura Hardin and husband, Joseph, of Vina, brothers, Robert Hall and wife, Angela, of Arab, and Walter Hall of Vina; and a nephew Thomas Hall, of Arab.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Dorothy Hall.

Linda was born Oct. 3, 1960, in Waukegan, Ill., the daughter of Walter and Dorothy (Hietala) Hall.  She married Charles Snider on Sept. 19, 1981, in Vina.  She and Charles later separated but remained close friends. She graduated from Vina High School in 1978 and currently worked for Cassill Motors in Cedar Rapids as the parts department manager.  She enjoyed cross stitching, quilting, and spending time with her family and friends.
