Charles Leslie Mims, 54, Tuscumbia, passed away suddenly on Monday, July 8, 2013, at Helen Keller Hospital.

Funeral services were Thursday, July 11, 2013, at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Jim Fiscus officiating.  Burial was in Antioch Cemetery, Phil Campbell.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Mims; daughters, Tosha Michael and husband, Anthony, Chanda Mims, Tabatha Mims, and Careese Mim; grandchildren, Ariel Michael, Joshua Michael, Jacob Hoober, David Hoober, Kendall Bonner, Ruby Blankenship, Micah Blankenship; sister-in-laws, Betty Mims, Teresa Mims; brothers, Jimmy Mims and wife, Dianne, Joe Mims and wife, Gail; sister, Barbara Weeks and husband, Dellion; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Leslie and Ludie Ida (Bishop) Mims; sisters, Joyce Dean, Brenda Rogers; brothers, James Freddie (Buzz) Mims, James Mims, Jr., John Mims, and Bobby Mims.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made towards the funeral expenses c/o Spry Memorial Chapel.
