Thanks for all the help

The Chucky Mullins Memorial Scholarship committee would like to thank all those who helped to make the fourth annual Chucky Mullins Memorial golf tournament a huge success.

Without the sponsors, players, and workers, the tournament couldn’t go on.   We know that Chucky would be so proud that there are seniors who are able to go to college because of these efforts.  The money these students receive helps so much with the expense of college, books, etc.

We would like to thank our corporate sponsors who helped us tremendously with the tournament.

They are Missy Hargett with Alabama Central Credit Union, Senator Roger Bedford, Long Lewis Ford of Muscle Shoals, Sunshine Mills, Brad Gaines, and Russellville Water & Sewer Board.  We would like to thank Twin Pines Country Club for all their help in hosting the tournament.

In addition a tremendous thanks to Best Western of Russellville for providing a room for our out of town guest.

Also, a big thanks to the following for helping us with advertising:  Franklin County Times, Franklin Free Press, Times Daily, Radio 920 AM, John Pilati, John Stancil, and Travis Matthews.

We also would like to thank the following who sponsored holes at the tournament:  Murray’s Tire & Alignment, Russellville Health Care, Scott Family Chiropractic, Family Pharmacy, Russellville Wal-Mart, Heavy Metals, Bullington Lumber, Davidson Realty, CB&S Bank, Hester & James, Attorneys at Law, Clark Pulley, First Metro Bank, Bucky & Pam Rea, Mayor David Grissom, Keith’s Automotive, Campbell Vision Center, City of Russellville Electric Board, G & G Steel, Discount Home Source, Foster & Foster, CPAs, Rhino Linings of the Shoals, Russellville Gas Board, Alabama Healthcare, Rattlesnake Saloon, Probate Judge Barry Moore, Shoals Piping, Dr. Steve Hammack, Ted Mills Heating & Air, Ricky Young, and Hospice of North Alabama.

We appreciate Kameo Salon, Consider the Lilies, Mariott Shoals Hotel & Spa, 360 Grille, Gene Ellison, Dependable Sporting Center, Green’s Dependable Hardware, Rattlesnake Saloon, Cooper’s Glass & Framing, Speedy Pig, and Lanny Norris for their generous door prizes, which our golfers truly enjoyed.

We would like to sincerely express our gratitude for your donation.  Without it, this golf tournament would not have been a success.

It takes a lot of hard work and lots of help from the community to pull off such an endeavor.  We are truly thankful to you.
