William Calvin Hodge, 93, Russellville, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, at his residence.

Mr. Hodge was a War World II Veteran, serving in the U.S. Army.

Funeral services were Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Jerry Brewer officiating. Burial was in Franklin Memory Gardens.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Earline Bolton Hodge; son, Hiram “Butch” Hodge and wife, Pam; daughter, Phyllis Hodge Dowdy and husband, Doug; grandchildren, Jason Narmore and wife, Vanessa, Sherry Deaton, Adam Narmore, Charlie Dowdy, Brian Hodge, Tammy Willis, Brandon Hodge and wife, Denise; five step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren, Trenton Newman, Nathan Deaton, Lyles Peoples, Emaree Willis, Caleb Willis, Jonah Hodge, Bailey Chassereau; 11 step-great-grandchildren; sister, Lula Cheatham; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harmon and Ethel Hodge; brothers, Coy Hodge, Clarence Hodge and Clifton Hodge.

The pallbearers were Floyd Willingham, Wade Willingham, Jeff Willingham, Cotty Willingham, Tom Sherrod and Randy Jarnigan.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice of the Shoals for their love and care towards our family.
