Michael R. Wheeler, 61, died Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at his residence.

He was formerly of Golden, Miss., and was a graduate of Belmont High School.

He was a computer programmer and analyst for 25 years. He was a member of First

United Methodist Church, Red Bay, and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Services were Saturday, June 9, 2012, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay,

with Bro. Buster Timmons, Greg Pharr and Bro. Roger Wood officiating. Burial was in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Red Bay.

Survivors are his wife, Debra Fancher Wheeler, Collierville, Tenn.; two sisters, Barbara

Hammock and husband, Larry, and Linda Hampton and husband, John, all of Golden, Miss.; his mother-in-law, Betty Fancher, Red Bay; sisters-in-law, Brenda Keeton, Red Bay, and Pansy Hall and husband, Randy, Collierville, Tenn.; four nephews, Todd Hammock, Terry Hammock, Brock Keeton and Mark Carnes; five nieces, Misty Hampton, Brooke Carnes, Briana Keeton, Katie Hall and Ally Hall and six great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cason Creel Wheeler and Ruby Catherine

Childers Wheeler, a sister, Catherine Wheeler, father-in-law, Robert Fancher and brother-

in-law, Michael Fancher.

Pallbearers were Larry Fancher, Randy Hall, Brock Keeton, Mark Carnes, Todd

Hammock and Terry Hammock. Honorary pallbearers were Ronald Gober, David

Wiginton, Ronnie Brown, Joe Credille, Graton Hester, John Hampton and Larry

Hammock.
