Rosella Pounders, 88, Russellville, passed away Monday, Feb. 6, 2012, at her residence.

She lived her entire life in Franklin County and was a member of Eastside Missionary Baptist Church in Russellville.

The funeral service will be Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012, 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, with Dennis Steward and Joe Lenox officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Memory Gardens. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Survivors include children James H. Pounders and wife, Carolyn, of Hartselle, Billy Wayne Pounders and wife, Diane, of Hartselle, Joyce McGuire, of Russellville, Terry Pounders and wife, Judy, of Russellville, Gail Hall and wife, Brent, of Russellville; sisters, Eloise Mobley, of Red Bay, Artie Reed, of Baxter; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Darren Pounders, Dusten Pounders, Dudley McGuire, Andrew McGuire, Ben Pounders and Patrick Gardner.

She was preceded in death by husband, James E. Pounders; grandson, Rodney McGuire, son-in-law, Arlis McGuire; five brothers; three sisters.
