James William Berry, Jr., 65, Russellville, passed away suddenly on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012, at Shoals Hospital.

Junior Berry was a U.S. Marine veteran of Vietnam. He was a member of North Russellville Baptist Church. He had been a truck driver for 46 years, with his last job driving with his wife, Diane, for FedEx. 

The visitation will be 12 – 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012, at Spry Memorial Chapel.  The funeral will follow at 2:45 p.m. in the chapel. Officiating at the service will be Bro. Dewayne Crumley.  Burial with military honors will be at Bethsaida Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his father, James William Berry, Sr.; sister, Wanda Hacker; son, Bradley Berry; grandsons, Britt McDaniel, Peyton Wimberly; and mother-in-law, Theresa Lindley.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Diane Lindley Berry; children, Walene Lindsey, Carrie Wilson and husband, Brian, Tracy Berry and husband, Greg, Tracy McLemore, Christina Wimberly; grandchildren, Jacob Nix, Hannah Nix, Joshua Nix, Austin Wilson, Brooklyn Wilson, Gavin McDaniel, Tanner Steele, Nathan McLemore, Corey McLemore, Jordan Berry, Destiny Murray; mother, Christine Berry; brothers, Hoyt Berry and wife, Jean, Ronald Berry and wife, Jean, Donald Berry and wife, Janice; sisters, Linda Sockwell and husband, Wayne, Sheila Edwards; and a host of nieces and nephews.

His pallbearers will be Teddy Kavich, Jerry Little, David Morrow, Austin Demastus, Eric Demastus, Dylan Bonner, Josh Cochran and Brian Miller.

Junior loved his wife and family very much.  He was loved by all and will be missed greatly.
