R.B. Holland, 77, of Vina, Ala. died Friday, October 14, 2011 at Generations in Red Bay.  He was a born in Franklin County, Ala. and was an electrician.  He was a member and deacon of Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Sunday, October 16, 2011 at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, Ala. with Bro. W.D. Humphries and Bro. Matthew Haney officiating.  Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery. 

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lila Ruth Holland, of Vina, Ala.; one daughter, Janice Blackburn and husband, Marshall, of Vina, Ala.; five grandchildren, Anthony Blackburn, Amy Burks, Jamie Blackburn, Brandie Davis, and Samantha Holland; seven great-grandchildren, Haley Blackburn, Justin Blackburn, Katie Burks, Hunter Burks, Jacob Davis, Jaycee Davis, and Gretchen Davis; daughter-in-law, Sarah Holland Nichols; three brothers, J.T. Holland, F.V. Holland and Thurston Holland; three sisters, Cutaw Manasco, Geneva Griffus and Brenda Humphres.

He was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Holland; his parents, Delton and Arrie Rollins Holland; brother, Fred Holland; and two sisters, Mildred Caudle and Lorene Singleton.

Pallbearers were Kenny Nichols, Jason Davis, Mike Blanton, Jeff Burks, Anthony Blackburn and Jamie Blackburn.
