May Wilkins, 92, of Golden, Miss., passed away Saturday, June 18, 2011 at the Red Bay Hospital.  She was born in Winston County, Ala. to Brady Columbus and Pearlie Ann Waldrep.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, Ala. with Bro. Jonathan Wilkins officiating. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

She is survived by five children, Ronnie Wilkins, of Fulton, Miss., Mary Owens and husband, Dave, of Moulton, Ala., Sherry Rockwell and husband, Vernon, of Golden, Ricky Richard Wilkins and wife, Jennifer, of Collinsville, Ala. and Randy Wilkins and wife, Ann, of Red Bay; fourteen grandchildren, Jeff Wilkins, Leon Wilkins, John Wilkins, Catherine Ramirez, Jonathan Owens, Vicki Weclowski, Chris Rockwell, Rebecca McLain, Ellissa Rockwell, Christina Leath, Shelia Wilkins, Kimberly Wilkins, Angela Grace and Adam Wilkins; 29 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Louise Nyguen, Tavie Nix and Wanda Houk; one brother, Colin Waldrep.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Wilkins; two grandchildren, Richard Rockwell and Stephen Owens; one brother, Dorsel Waldrep; and one sister, Hazel Benson.

Pallbearers were her great grandsons, Seth Rockwell, Tyler Weclowski, Laudrey Cody, Jacob Cody, Tyler Rockwell, Michael Ramirez, Jordan McLain, Matthew Payne and Michael Payne.
