Carroll Dean “C.D.”  Waller, 76, of Phil Campbell, Ala. died Wednesday, April 27, 2011.

Born and raised in Fulton County, Georgia has lived the past 21 years with his wife, Gerri Waller in Phil Campbell. His passion for music, playing the guitar and piano would bring smiles to everyone who has had the pleasure of ever hearing him. His love of music and family are the greatest testimony of who he was. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Franklin and Dora Armanda Waller; sister, Clarine Meyer.

He is survived by children, Donna and Phil Robinson, Peggy and Marty Durham, Larry Michael and Sharon Davis Michael, and Lisa Waller; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Akins Funeral Home, Thursday, May 5, 2011. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. at Phil Campbell Church of God Seventh Day with Bro. James Predmore officiating with John Thomas assisting. Interment will be in adjoining cemetery.
