Jeanette Orrick, 72, of Red Bay passed away Monday, Jan. 31, 2011 at her residence.  She was born Sept. 7, 1938 in Alabama to William and Alice Blanton Mills.  She was a seamstress for 20 years.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011 at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay with Bro. David Kelley and Bro. Rick Kennedy officiating.  Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Golden, Miss.

She is survived by two daughters, Lynn Kennedy and husband, Rick, of Dennis, Miss. and Melinda Pharr and husband, Mark, of Fairview, Miss.; one son, John Orrick and wife, Deborah, Tupelo, Miss.; three sisters, Inez Prestage, of Huntsville, Ala., Mary Boozer and husband, F.B., of Smithville, Miss. and Delores Daily and husband, Keith, of Red Bay; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, P.A. Orrick; daughter, Kim Wigginton; her parents; three brothers, Morris Mills, Hub Mills and W.T. Mills; and sister, Minnie Gillette.

Pallbearers were grandchildren, Amanda Thompson, Stephen Kennedy, Brandon Kennedy, Tracey Kennedy, Slate Pharr, Michael Pharr, Bryant Wigginton, Cody Wigginton, John Thomas Orrick and Josphine Orrick.
