Election set for alcohol vote in Phil Campbell

PHIL CAMPBELL – The election for the alcohol vote was set for June 1 by the Phil Campbell Town Council meeting Tuesday night.

The council passed a resolution to hold the election with the primary election in order to save money.

The council also voted to appoint a poll watcher for the vote. They authorized Town Clerk Ann Bragwell to contact former poll workers to see who is available for the election.

The council decided to meet June 2 at 7 a.m. to verify the election results.

The council announced they will not hold a council meeting on May 18 due to the League of Municipalities conference in South Alabama.
