Russellville posted its best 18-hole score of the season Tuesday as the Golden Tigers beat Haleyville by 26 strokes and finished 37 strokes ahead of Lawrence County.

Hagen Price led Russellville with a score of 72 as the team recorded an overall score of 300.

Will Bragwell and Ty Trapp both shot 75 while Alex Pounders shot 78 to round out the scoring.

Russellville coach Jason Haithcock said these are the kinds of scores the team needs to shoot to reach the sub-state and the state tournament.

Lawrence County’s Kaleb Jones hit a hole-in-one on the 15th hole.
