    Marilyn Yvonne Greenhill, 73 of Russellville passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at her residence.
    She was lifetime resident of Franklin County and member of the Baptist Church. She was retired from BellSouth
    Funeral services were held May 15, 2009 at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville with Dan Hindman officiating. Burial was in Bolton Cemetery.
    Survivors include son, DeWayne Greenhill and wife, Peggy; sister, Willodean Shewbart and husband, Lelion; granddaughters, Brandie Mitchell and husband, Brian, Brittany Greenhill; great-grandchildren Braden Mitchell, Bryson Mitchell and special friend Britney Ferguson; sisters-in-law Odessa Greenhill and Lois Everett Posey.
    Pallbearers will be Arlin Greenhill, Danny Shewbart, Donald Gober, Ray Massey, Carl Hendrix, Randall Everett and Rodney Irving.
    She was preceded in death by parents, Clive and Mary "Willie" Duncan Hendrix; husband, Arvil Greenhill; daughter, Kathy Greenhill.
    She will be forever missed by family and many friends.

    Perry Wayne Pilgrim, 40, of Birmingham, Ala. died April 28, 2009 in Chalmett, Louisiana.
    He was a native of Russellville, born June 13, 1968. He was a member of Alva Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and a 1986 graduate of Russellville High School.
    A graveside service was held May 8, 2009 at Bethlehem Cemetery in Russellville will Bro. Jeff Fleming and Bro. Carl Gaston officiating.
    Survivors include mother, Doris Humphries, Red Bay; father, Clarence Pilgrim and wife, Deloris, of Russellville; brother, Steve Pilgrim and wife, Anita, of Trinity, Ala.; sister, Lisa Cleveland and husband, Phillip, of Belmont, Miss.; grandfather, Harvey Poss, of Guntersville; several nieces and nephews.
    Pallbearers were Jordan Barksdale, Garrett Pilgrim, Barry Winstead, Matthew Mangino, Sammy Hatton and Tim Hatton.
    He was preceded in death by sister, Angie Pilgrim; grandparents, George and Annie Pilgrim; James Wilmer and Essie Lee Poss.
    Beatrice Louise Hendrix

    Beatrice Louise Hendrix, 86, of Russellville, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at her residence.
    Funeral services were held May 14, 2009 at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Loyd Ray Griffus. Interment was in Bonds Cemetery.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, Charley and Ethel Hendrix; brothers, Otto Hendrix, Clive Hendrix, Berry Hendrix, Horace Hendrix and Carnie Hendrix; sisters, Lottie Massey, Mattie Hendrix and Ruby Hendrix.
    She is survived by her sisters-in-law, Gladys Hendrix and Hazel Hendrix; and a host of nieces and nephews.

    Dorothy "Dot" Alline Dempsey, 64, of Russellville, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2009 at Russellville Hospital.
    Funeral services were held May 14, 2009 at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. DeWayne Crumley officiating. Interment will be in Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
    She is survived by her husband, Foy Dempsey; children, Diane Myrick and husband, Tony, Sandra Kennedy and husband, Larry, Anthony Dempsey and wife, Mia, Christy Hubbert and husband, Jackie; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; cousins, John Suddith and family, Tama and Benny Hyche and family, and Herman and Cheryl Siegler.
    The pallbearers were Benny Hyche, John Suddith, David Ward, Danny Price, Jeffrey Kennedy, Jeremy Kennedy, Joey Kennedy, and Chase Kennedy. Honorary pallbearers were Justin Esquivel, Cody Mansell, Tanner Hall, Tynes Channell, Ryan Romans, Matthew Bolton, Corey Snow and Bradley Kennedy.
    She was known as "Momma Dot" to everyone.
    Brenda Gail Lawler Mann
    May 14, 209
    Brenda Gail Lawler Mann, 56, of Phil Campbell, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2009 at Russellville Hospital.
    The visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 17, 2009 at Spry Memorial Chapel with Rev. David Sanderson officiating. Interment will be in Shady Grove Freewill Baptist Cemetery in Phil Campbell.
    She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Lawler.
    She is survived by her husband, Dewayne Mann; father, Hulon Lawler; children, Amy Jackson and husband, Jeremy, Tammy Cochran and husband, Joey, and Jeremy Mann; grandchildren, Connor Jackson, Emma Cochran and Ethan Cochran; sister, Janet Holley; several sisters-in-laws and brother-in-laws; and numerous nieces and nephews.
    The pallbearers will be Jeremy Jackson, Joey Cochran, Jimmy Holley, Donny Hill, Eddie Mann and Jerry Wayne Lawler.
