Margaret Ann Borden, 82, of Pittsburg, Texas, and formerly of Russellville, Ala., passed away Friday, Dec. 19, 2008, at East Texas Medical Center.
The visitation was Monday, Dec. 22 at Spry Memorial Chapel in Russellville. The 1 p.m. graveside service and interment was Dec. 22 at Union Hill Cemetery in Moulton with Bro. Randall Tice officiating.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Borden, and parents, Columbus and Effie Mae Holt.

George E. Benson

George Edward Benson, 79, of Arley, Ala., passed away Friday, Dec. 19, 2008, at Northwest Medical Center in Winfield.
The graveside service was Sunday, Dec. 21 at 3 p.m. at the Arley Congregational Church Cemetery with Robert Partridge officiating.
He is survived by his sons, Terry Benson and William Benson; sisters, Lola Prescott and Helen Lingenfelter; brother, L.D. Benson; grandchildren, Kim Carroll, Randy Sutton, Chris Sutton, Jeremy Benson, Jeff Benson, Amanda Morris, Bill Benson, Les Burton and Debbie Benson; and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Washington and Ila Pearl Benson; wife, Lola Benson; daughter, Annette Sutton; brother, Alvin Ray Benson; twin infant brothers; and sisters, Lillie Mae Harbin, Ethelene Cagle, Iva Jean Benson; and an infant sister.
Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville assisted the family.
Julious Osborn

Julious Osborn, 75, of Russellville, Ala., passed away Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008.
He was a Korean War veteran and retired from the Woodmen of the World Life Insurance Society.
The visitation was Sunday, Dec. 21 at Colbert Memorial Chapel in Tuscumbia.
Funeral services were Monday, Dec. 22 at the chapel with Rev. Wayne Boyles officiating. Entombment followed at Colbert Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Tuscumbia.
He was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Alice Osborn; parents, Roy and Eva Osborn; brother, Daven Osborn; and wife, Jean Osborn.
He is survived by his son, Victor Osborn and wife Joanne of Muscle Shoals; daughters, Gail Martin of Muscle Shoals and Mechelle Dowdy and husband David of Florence; brothers, Albert Osborn of Florence, Cleveland Osborn of Illinois, Tommy Osborn of Hackleburg and Billy Osborn of Illinois; and sisters, Nina Goodwin and Ann Granneman, both of Illinois; grandchildren, Jessica Taylor, Blake Crain, Ashley Martin, Jarrod Osborn, Tanner Whitlock, Luke Whitlock and Allison Osborn.
Pallbearers were Danny Gist, Jake Franks, Blake Crain, Jarrod Osborn, Tanner Whitlock, Luke Whitlock and John Mayfield.
Colbert Memorial Chapel of the Shoals assisted the family.
