Russellville golf wins tournament
LITTLEVILLE – The Russellville Black squad shot a 163 at Twin Pines as the Golden Tigers earned a match win Thursday over Lawrence County, Muscle Shoals and Colbert Heights.
Brett Fish shot a 40, while T.J. Seagraves and Brian Brown each fired rounds of 41 for the Black team, while the Gold squad finished second with a 171. Ty Trapp shot a 39 to earn low medalist honors, and Trea Mosley finished with a 42.
In the girls division, Russellville's Lindsay Smith shot a 58 to finish behind Muscle Shoals' Morgan Fuller, who had a 49.
Red Bay baseball splits with PC
PHIL CAMPBELL – Steven Prestage earned a complete-game victory and added two hits as the Red Bay varsity baseball team snapped Phil Campbell's nine-game winning streak Tuesday.
Red Bay won the first game of the Class 2A, Area 16 doubleheader as Chase Lindsey had two RBIs and two hits and Nicholas Taylor added two hits for the Tigers.
Phil Campbell claimed the nightcap with a 16-0 win as Korey Pounders and Caleb Thompson each had three hits.
Red Bay tennis splits at Haleyville
RED BAY – The Red Bay varsity tennis teams split with Haleyville Thursday as the boys (4-2) defeated the Lions 6-3, while the girls (1-3) lost 9-0.
The Tigers will play at Haleyville Monday, April 7 and against sectional rival Lexington at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 8 at Northwest-Shoals. Both matches will begin at 3:30 p.m.

City flag football registration

The Russellville Parks and Recreation Department flag football league will register teams until March 31.The league is for ages 16 and up, and the fee is $150 per team with a limit of 15 players.
To register, come to the Russellville Recreation Center or call Derrick Dorn at 332-8770.
Run for Ronald 5K benefit race
April 12
FLORENCE -Alpha Delta Pi will hold the fourth annual Run for Ronald 5K Run/Walk and 1-Mile Fun Run Saturday, April 12 at the University of North Alabama walking track next to Flowers Hall to benefit the Ronald McDonald House.
The 5K will start at 8 a.m. and the 1-mile will begin at 9:15 a.m. or as soon as the 5K is completed. The course is a certified USATF track and online registration is available at www.active.com. The pre-registration cost for the 5K is $10 and the 1-milie is $7. Race day registration is $20 (5K) and $10 (1-mile). For more information, email Ashley at TVAAadpi@hotmail.com.
Regional BASS tournament
May 22-23
DECATUR – The Decatur/Morgan County Convention and Visitors Bureau is pleased to announce Ingalls Harbor has been chosen for the BASS Club World Championship (BCWC) Regional Tournament, a qualifier for the World Championship. The regional tournament is set for Thursday, May 22 and Friday, May 23.
