Russellville sweeps Lawrence Co.

The Russellville varsity boys won their fourth straight game Tuesday night as the Golden Tigers overwhelmed Lawrence County 93-49.
Senior guard Cory Trapp, who hit a school-record 12 3-pointers Saturday, scored all 24 of his points from behind the arc against the Red Devils.
The Golden Tigers (4-0) led by as many as 30 points in the second half as Terrance Smith finished with 19 points and Siran Winston added 16.
Jermaine Bates and Jordan Hammond each scored 12 points.
The Russellville varsity girls also picked up their fourth victory this season with a 58-53 win over the Lady Red Devils.
Erin Reynolds scored a season-high 24 points for Russellville, while Tasha West finished with 15 points and Victoria Taylor added nine.
Russellville will travel to Leighton tonight to play Colbert County beginning at 4:30 p.m. The varsity girls tip off at 6 p.m. and the boys play at 7:30 p.m.The Golden Tigers won't play at home again until an area matchup against Muscle Shoals Jan. 4.
