Sonya Ann McDaniel, 41, of Phil Campbell, passed away Friday, July 6, 2007.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 9, 2007 at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville. Jeff Whitten officiated. Interment followed at Antioch Cemetery near Phil Campbell.
She is survived my her husband, Don McDaniel; a son, Joshua Keith Cavender of Phil Campbell; step-son, Danny McDaniel of Michigan; her mother, Glenda Willis of Haleyville; step-father, Jimmy Willis; brother, Tony Thrasher of Phil Campbell; sisters Tammy Willis and Sarah Thrasher, both of Bear Creek; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Glenda LaShae Young; her grandparents, Tonie and Bernie Arnold; and one niece, Sierria Dunn.
Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, directed the family.
Gladys V. Bobo

Gladys V. Bobo, age 86 of Russellville, died Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at the Terrace Manor Nursing Home in Russellville. She was a native of Trinity, Ala., but had lived in Franklin County since 1945. She was a member of Waco Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.F. Vinson; her brother, Frank Vinson and son-in-law Rodney Williams.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 12 at 11 a.m. at the Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel in Russellville with David Kelly officiating. Burial will be in the Franklin Memory Gardens. Visitation with the family will be held Wednesday, July 11 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
She is survived by her husband, Johnie B. Bobo, of Russellville; son, Ronnie Bobo and wife, Pat, of Russellville; and daughters, Glenda Daily and husband, Larry, of Russellville, and Judy Williams of Littleville; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Pinkard Funeral Home of Russellville assisted the family.
Johnnie Marie Alexander

Johnnie Marie Alexander, 69, of Russellville, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2007.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at Akins Funeral Home Chapel.
Bro. Jim Lumpkin and Bro. Shane Smith officiated. Interment followed at Cherry Hill Cemetery in Russellville.
She was a native of Franklin County and a former resident of Russellville.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Wayne Alexander of Russellville; three sons, Rodney Alexander, Keith Alexander and wife Shonna, and Scott Alexander, all of Russellville; two daughters, Thresa McCarley of Huntsville and Lisa Cook of Haleyville; mother, Margaret Potter and father, Claude Potter, both of Russellville; sisters, Carolyn Mitchell and husband, O.D. of Russellville; Mavis Snider and husband, Tommy, of Pearl, Miss., Faye McFarlan and husband, Tom, of Auburn, JoAnn Pounders and husband, Charles, of Spruce Pine, Rita Pennington and husband, Johnny, of Spruce Pine, and Kathy Blasingame and husband, Ernie, of Littleville; brothers, Duane Potter and wife, Linda, of Russellville, Jimmy Potter and wife, Linda, of Phil Campbell, and Mike Potter and wife, Ginger, of Haleyville; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by sister, Linda Nell Robledo and brother, Leon Potter. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church of Russellville and the Orange Baptist Church in East Franklin community.
Akins Funeral Home of Russellville assisted the family.
