Brunelle, Payne

Katy Renee Payne and Keith William Brunelle were married on Saturday, June 19, 2004, at First Presbyterian Church, Meridian. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Dr. Rhett G. Payne III, the bride's father, the Rev. Hughie Denton of Evergreen, the bride's grandfather, and the Rev. Roger Doyle of Meridian.
Parents of the couple are Dr. and Mrs. Rhett Goode Payne III and Judi Brunelle and Gerald Brunelle, all of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bride are the Rev. and Mrs. Hughie Denton of Evergreen and Mr. and Mrs. Rhett Goode Payne Jr. of Jackson, Ala.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Mamie Nobles of Meridian, organist; Sherry Gunn of Meridian, flautist; Kevin Doyle, vocalist and pianist; Christi Page Victor of Carrollton, Texas, vocalist and Peter Jumper of Carrollton, pianist.
Escorted and given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a formal strapless gown of ivory silk organza featuring an A-line skirt with three satin bands at the waistline, and a full apron back edged in satin. Her headpiece was a blusher veil and she carried a bouquet of red roses that included the bride's baby bonnet made into a handkerchief.
Kristy Lynn Payne of Meridian, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Other attendants were Jennifer Anne Fleming of Round Rock, Texas; and Casey Anne Hans and Rachel Lee Bargiol, both of Dallas.
Ryan Madelynn Payne, daughter of the bride, and Kourtnei Alexis Brunelle, daughter of the bridegroom, were flower girls.
Scott Kaderabek of Jackson and Thomasville, Ala. served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were, Rhett Goode "Chip" Payne IV, brother of the bride, Marc Anthony Boger and Shawn Patrick Brunelle, brothers of the bridegroom, all of Meridian; Lawrence Frazier Payne of Mobile, Ala., and Randall Becker Denton of Brewton, Ala., cousins of the bride.
Program attendants were Michelle Pennington of Meridian and Selina Roberts of Butler, Ala.
After the ceremony, a reception was held at Union Station in downtown Meridian.
Following a honeymoon on the Gulf Coast, the couple resides in Meridian.
