Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Ray Morrow of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Leigh Ann, to William Henry Powell IV, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Henry Powell III of Linden, Ala.
The wedding is Saturday, Aug. 21, 2004, at 6:30 p.m. at The Old Home Place in Enterprise.
Miss Morrow is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James F. Morrow of Chattanooga, Tenn., and the late Essie Mae Nash and William Edward Adkinson of Florence, Ariz.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Enterprise High School and received a degree in psychology from the University of West Alabama in 2004. She is currently pursuing a master's degree at the University of West Alabama.
While attending UWA, she was a member of the Blue Key honor society and the UWA Ambassadors, captain of the cheerleading squad and an orientation leader.
Miss Morrow is employed by University of West Alabama.
Mr. Powell is the grandson of Sue Powell of Linden, Ala., and the late William Henry Powell Jr. and Dennis L. Grady of Hot Springs Village, Ark., and the late Shirley Gaddy.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Marengo Academy in Linden.
Mr. Powell is employed by Alabama Power/Green County Steam Plant in Forkland, Ala.
A reception will be held at the Old Home Place following the ceremony.
