Smith, Evans

Rickey and Kathy Smith of Collinsville announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Nicole, to Jamison Evans, son of Cindy Evans of Meridian and the late James Evans.
The wedding will be held Saturday, July 31, 2004, at 6 p.m. at Okatibbee Dam and Reservoir.
Miss Smith is the granddaughter of the late Jesse and Lela Tucker of Collinsville and the late William "June" and Bonnie Smith of Center Hill.
The bride-elect is a graduate of West Lauderdale High School and received a degree in biological science from the University of Southern Mississippi, graduating summa cum laude. She will be attending Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Fla.
Miss Smith is employed by Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Evans is the grandson of Aljean Young of Meridian and the late Lamar Young and Lena Evans Pinkerton of Toomsuba.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Northeast High School and received a drafting and design degree from Meridian Community College.
Mr. Evans is employed by Clearspan Components.
A reception will be held at East Bank Pavilion following the ceremony.
