Flint, Cornish

Niki Cornish of Marion and Matthew Flint of Meridian were married Saturday, June 7, 2003, at Jones Memorial Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Allan Singletary officiating.
Parents of the couple are Bill and Sharlotte Cornish of Marion, and Alan and Rita Flint of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bride are Lon and Kathleen Douglas of Meridian, and the late Henry and Ida Belle Cornish of Marion.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Ray and Trudy Flint, Joe and Elois Godeaux and the late Bill Taylor, all of Meridian.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Elaine Pogue, organist; Rebekah McCay and Shannon White, vocalists.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white gown with satin eyelet appliques and beading. The bodice featured spaghetti straps and a scoop neckline that featured English net inserts with seed pearls and crystals. The appliqued princess panel bodice flowed onto the slender A-line skirt. The back bodice featured a V-shaped back with an illusion insert on the chapel-length train.
Matron of honor was Kristi Wagner of Marion, sister of the bride. Maid of honor was Heather Ulmer of Marion.
Other attendants were Alana Flint, sister of the bridegroom, Jennifer Brown, Blair Manning, Mandy Wheeler, Kristin Williams and Ashley Wilson, all of Meridian.
Payton Cornish of Marion, niece of the bride, was flower girl.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen were Jeremy Flint of Birmingham, Ala., brother of the bridegroom, Mark Cornish of Marion, brother of the bride, Patrick Taylor, cousin of the bridegroom, William Hodges, Jeramy McCarty, Jonathan McClure and Nathan Owen, all of Meridian. Ushers were Jon Flint and Austin Taylor, both of Meridian and cousins of the bridegroom.
Miles Wagner of Marion, nephew of bride, was ring bearer. Rice bag attendants were Olivia Taylor and Payton Cornish. Program attendant was Emmie Sollie.
A reception was held at Briarwood Country Club following the ceremony.
Assisting at the reception were Amanda Marsalis, Judy Ryburn, Melba White and Melissa Taylor.
After a honeymoon in Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple resides in Meridian.
