50th anniversary
Russell "Al" and Dorla "Dot" Jarman celebrated their 50th anniversary at Northcrest Baptist Church Saturday with family and friends. The celebration included the renewal of their vows with Jessica Jarman, the couple's granddaughter, officiating. The Jarmans grandchildren, Kristen Jarman, Sumer Pritchett and Nicole Simmons served as bridesmaids. Mrs. Jarman was given away by her two sons, Robert Alan and Rusty Jarman. Beverly Pritchett, the couple's daughter, and Cindy Jarman, their daughter-in-law, were wedding planners and coordinators. The Jarmans have five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
64th anniversary
Clayton and Alcyon Richey celebrated their 64th anniversary on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2003, with their family at Old Farm Beef House. The Richeys were married Dec. 23, 1939. They have a son, Jonathan Richey of Meridian; a daughter, Marsha Hanson of Pensacola; two grandchildren, Robert Athey and Katie Richey.
50th anniversary
The children of Walter and Ruby Boutwell invite their friends and family to a reception honoring their parents 50th anniversary on Saturday, Jan. 10 from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church in Newton.
50th anniversary
Chester and Evelynn Chatham of Meridian celebrated their 50th anniversary on Dec. 20, 2003, at the Parker House Restaurant in Ridgeland with their two daughters, Jenny Dodder, Molly Long and their families. Their children and grandchildren, Elizabeth Chesney, Candice Long and Jimmy Dodder, all reside in Madison. Chester and Evelynn were married at Bailey Presbyterian Church in 1953 and continue to reside in Meridian.
