65th anniversary
James and Annie Gilbert invite friends and family to visit them after 1 p.m. in their home at 478 County Road 291 in Vossburg, on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2003, to celebrate their 65th anniversary. The Gilberts have five children, 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. The Gilberts have lived at their present home for more than 41 years and lived down the road for more than 24 years. They have only moved one time in 65 years.
60th anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Roger Molina celebrated their 60th anniversary on Nov. 21, 2003. The couple has three sons, Van of Nevada, Bruce of Massachusetts and Bryan of South Carolina; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Mrs. Molina is the former Maxine Eubanks, daughter of the late Lonnie H. and Carrie Eubanks.The couple currently reside in Pace, Fla.
50th anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Joyner of Shuqualak celebrated their 50th anniversary by enjoying an Alaskan cruise given to them by their children. The Joyners were married Dec. 23, 1953, in Meridian. Mr. Joyner is retired from Southern Pipe and Supply and served in the U.S. Air Force. Mrs. Joyner, the former Margaret Garrett, is a homemaker. The couple are members of Macedonia United Methodist Church. They have three children, Jerry Joyner of Rydal, Ga., Deborah Dodson of Sulphur, La., and Suzanne Lasyone of Columbus; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
