    The Clarkdale boys' soccer team picked up a shutout win over Newton County on Tuesday.
    Chris Sirven scored the lone goal in the Bulldogs' 1-0 win over Newton County, and Drew Miller picked up the assist on the goal for Clarkdale.
    The Bulldogs, who improved to 3-4 with the win, continue the season against Southeast Lauderdale at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday on the road.

    Heidelberg (boys) 50
    Wayne County 40
    Jordan Payne led the Oilers with 16 points, and Travis Stephens, Andie Stephens and Shamen Jones each scored 10 points in the win over Wayne County on Tuesday.
    Ced Jones led the War Eagles with 10 points, and David Howard added eight points.
    Wayne Cty (girls) 48
    Heidelberg 46
    Ratassia Worsham scored 19 points to lead the Lady Eagle offense, and Kathy Bivens added 13 in the team's win over Heidelberg on Tuesday.
    Shawana Stevens led Heidelberg's offense with 16 points, and Princess Bender contributed 13 points.
    Morton (boys) 67
    NE Lauderdale 61
    Antonio Clayton tallied a game-high 34 points for the Trojans, as the team fell to Morton on Monday night.
    Chris Lloyd scored a team-high 33 points to pace Morton's offense, and Shay Hodge and Randy Bourque each added 12.
    Wayne Aca. (boys) 54
    Macon Central 29
    Three Wayne Academy players scored in double figures, as the team improved its record to 6-5 with a win over Macon Central on Monday.
    Colby Beasley tallied a team-high 14 points for Wayne Academy, and Greg Kirkland and Patton Stanley added 11 and 10, respectively.
    Ross Brown scored a team-high 12 points for Macon Central, which fell to 7-5 for the year with loss.
    Forest (boys) 76
    Choctaw Central 69
    Jacquas Jones tallied a game-high 25 points, and Braxton Boone scored 22 in Forest's win over Choctaw Central on Monday. Forest improved its record to 8-2 for the year with the win.
    Duran Morris notched a team-high 14 points for Choctaw Central, and Sean Ashhapanek scored 12 in the loss. Scott Nickey added 11 points for Choctaw Central, and Roderick Anderson scored 10.
    Salem (boys) 66
    Stringer 65
    Salem's James Ratliff led all scorers with 27 points, and Teddy Martin added 14 in the team's victory over Stringer on Monday.
    Michael Barrett scored a team-high 20 points for Stringer, which fell to 2-7 for the year with the loss. David Sims tallied 16 points, and Devin Brown and Wesley Jenkins notched 11 and 10, respectively, for Stringer.
    Quitman (boys) 68
    West Jones 48
    Quitman's Prince Trotter scored a game-high 18 points to help his team improve to 10-6 for the year with a win over West Jones on Monday.
    Daniel Boyd tallied 11 points for Quitman in the win.
    Ira Lee Key scored a team-high 17 points for West Jones in the loss.
    Carthage (girls) 60
    Newton County 50
    Carthage's Alisa Mattack led all scorers with 22 points to lead her team to victory over Newton County on Monday. Shonda Marshall added 10 for Carthage, which improved to 8-4 for the year.
    Newton County's Andrea Dubose tallied 16 points, as the team fell to 7-3 with the loss.
    Choctaw Central (girls) 106
    Forest 67
    Four Choctaw Central players scored in double figures, as the team hit the century mark on the scoreboard against Forest on Monday.
    Chantay Frazier scored a team-high 26 points for Choctaw Central; Ashley Flint notched 22 points; Mystee Dale scored 12; and Ria Willis added 10 in the win.
    Shaquenta Lee scored a team-high 26 points for Forest, which fell to 2-9 for the year, and Brittany McCloud tallied 19 in the loss. Maggie Moore contributed 10 points for Forest.
    Scott Central (girls) 62
    Thomastown 49
    Scott Central recorded a double-digit win over Thomastown on Monday to improve its record to 8-2 for the season.
    Latasha Johnson scored a game-high 17 points for Scott Central, Elyse Clay added 16.
    Marion Zollicoffer scored 13 for Thomastown, and Candice Beamon added 12.
    Partician (girls) 48
    Sumter Aca. 32
    Kane Andrews scored a team-high 17 points for Partician in the team's win over Sumter Academy last Friday.
    Margot Etheridge tallied 12 points for Partician, and Melissa Archibald grab eight rebounds and notched six assists in the win.
    Partician (boys) 65
    Sumter Aca. 47
    Russell Cheatum scored a team-high 26 points for Partician in the team's win over Sumter Academy last Friday. The win improved Partician's record to 5-3.
