Barnes, Sparks

Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Mac Barnes Jr. of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Leigh, to Leon Pace Sparks, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Allen Sparks of Brookhaven.
The wedding will be Saturday, Dec. 6, 2003, at 4 p.m. at Central United Methodist Church in Meridian.
Miss Barnes is the granddaughter of Maycel E. Martin of Clinton and the late B.E. Martin, and Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Mac Barnes Sr. of Meridian.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Meridian High School, Mississippi State University and the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
She is employed at Rush Foundation Hospital as a physical therapist.
Mr. Sparks is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Gibson of Madison, the late Bert Sellers, and Jane Sparks of Forest and the late Ellis Sparks.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Brookhaven High School and Mississippi State University. He is employed at Newell Paper Company.
A reception will be held at Meridian Museum of Art following the ceremony.
