    Services for Gladys Wesley will be held today at noon at Little Mountain Baptist Church with the Rev. Tracy Glass officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Latimer Metropolitan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Wesley, 93, of Newton County, died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2003, in Newton County.
    Survivors include her daughter, Callie Foster of Clinton, Iowa; and a son, Eddie L. Harrington of Union.

    GILBERTOWN, Ala. Services for C.B. Gilbert Jr. will be held today at 3 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gerald Cole officiating. Burial will be in Red Springs Cemetery.
    Mr. Gilbert, 78, of San Antonio, died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2003, in San Antonio.
    Survivors include his mother, Ava Joyce Hearn Williams and his wife, Vivian S. Gilbert, both of San Antonio; sons, Paul Gilbert and his wife, Gayle, of Butler, Ala., Mark Gilbert and David Gilbert and his wife, Tonya, all of San Antonio, and Michael Gilbert and his wife, Manesseh, of Houston, Texas; daughters, Karen Westemeir and her husband, Don, Linda Parlee and Lisa De Leon, all of San Antonio; a brother, James Gilbert; sisters, Berle Lawlley, Bleeze Scott McDuffy and Joyce Morris; 14 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
    He was preceded in death by his father, C.B. Gilbert Sr.; and a grandson, David S. De Leon.
    Visitation will be today beginning at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

    MACON Services for C.D. Featherston Jr. will be held today at 4 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Macon with the Rev. D.R. Ragsdale officiating. Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery. Cockrell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Featherston, 78, of Macon, died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2003. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
    Survivors include his wife, George Ann Featherston of Macon; daughters, Vaughn Nickels of Columbus and Katherine Musil of Tallahassee, Fla.; a son, Dillard Featherston III of Broken Arrow, Okla.; 12 grandchildren; sisters, Carlotta Trevillion of Atlanta and Minnie Lucy Turner of Nashville, Tenn.; and two brothers, Sam Featherston of Macon and Dr. John Featherston of Spartanburg, S.C.
    Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church in Macon.
    Visitation will be will be today 2 p.m.-3:30 p.m. at the church.
    Retired from Meridian Manufacturing
    Services for Ruby A. Scarbrough will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Scarbrough officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Duffee.
    Mrs. Scarbrough, 71, of Pensacola, Fla., died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2003, at Specialty Center in Pensacola. She was a member of Westwood Baptist Church and a retired seamstress for Meridian Manufacturing. She had been a resident of Pensacola for the last two years.
    Survivors include her daughter, Charlotte Oliver and her husband, Richard; a son, Danny Scarbrough and his wife, Sherri, of Lillian, Ala.; sisters, Lois Smith of Fairhope, Ala., Lora Shepherd of Vider, Texas, Evangeline Barnette and Doris Alston and her husband, Albert, all of Meridian; brothers, Pete Arledge and his wife, Ruth, Jimmy Arledge and his wife, Mary Jane, and Lee Arledge and his wife, Lucille, all of Meridian; five grandchildren, Laurie, Robert and Emily Scarbrough of Lillian, Ala., and Ricky and Brandy Oliver of Meridian.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, William Chester Scarbrough; parents, Mack Arledge and Leslie Goforth Arledge.
    Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
    Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

    UNION Services for Estelle Belk Nordan will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Milling Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. LeRoy Yates and Jeff Hancock officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Church of God Cemetery in Dixon.
    Mrs. Nordan, 86, of Union, died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2003, at Laird's Hospital in Union.
    Survivors include her husband, Eslie G. "E.G." Nordan of Union; sons, Joe H. Belk and his wife, Lynda, of Jackson and Edsel H. Belk and his wife, Janice, of Union; a daughter, Earnestine Weir of Union; a step-son, Eslie E. Nordan and his wife, Barbara, of St. Louis; step-daughters, Sylvia Brown and her husband, Clayton, of Mobile, Ala., Diane Hamm and her husband, Thomas, of Birmingham, Ala., and Linda Munoz and her husband, George, of Houston, Texas; 20 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her first husband, J.P. Belk Jr.
    Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Services for Mary V. Jordan will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joseph Buck officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
    Mrs. Jordan, 86, of Meridian, died Monday, Sept. 29, 2003, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Survivors include her 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and children.
    Visitation will be today 7 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

    SEBASTOPOL Services for Jill Frazier Robinson will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Bogue Chitto Facility Building with the Rev. Emmett Denson officiating. Burial will be in Robinson Cemetery in Kemper County. Milling Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Robinson, 45, of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2003, at Choctaw Health Center.
    Survivors include her husband, Namen Robinson; a son, David Billy Mingo; a daughter, Shirley Mingo; foster children, Crystal Frazier and Derrick Frazier; sisters, Betty Waltman, Eva Frazier, Valorie Frazier and Susan Frazier, all of Philadelphia, and Emma Sam of Carthage; brothers, Dan Frazier and David Frazier Sr., both of Philadelphia, Andy Frazier of Memphis, Tenn., and Odell Frazier of Carthage.
