Police investigate robbery

A Meridian woman had her purse stolen after she was knocked down in a parking lot about 9:45 p.m. Wednesday.
Detective Dean Harper, a Meridian Police Department spokesman, said police are investigating the strong armed robbery that happened in the 1700 block of Second Street South.
Police are asking anyone with any additional information to call CrimeStoppers at 485-1860.
