Cole, Johnson

Shirley House Johnson of Pachuta and Edward Cole of Chicago were married Saturday, July 26, 2003, at St. John Baptist Church in Vossburg with the Rev. Rousell of New Orleans officiating.
Parents of the couple are Albert House of Pachuta, Dorothy House of New Orleans and Mr. and Mrs. Onie Cole of Chicago.
Grandparent of the bride are the late Cleveland Dase of Heidelberg.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Ambros Cole of Daleville.
Music for the ceremony was provided by her sister, Barbara Mars of California.
The bride was given in marriage by her cousin, Allen Willis of New Orleans.
She wore a satin halter A-line dress accented with flower appliques and pearls at the waistline and sweep train. She wore a pearl tear drop shoulder-length veil.
Marilyn Townsend of Meridian served as maid of honor. Other attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Darrin William, Linda House, Glorianna House, Vernickie William, Shatonia Johnson, Mondia Smith, Beverly Rousell, Gwen Claude, Bonnie Nichols, Margret Hill, Anquenette Cole and Renette House. Dawana and Simone House were flower girls.
Michael Nichol was best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Rauen House, Earnest Brown, Antonio House, John House, Authur Johnigan, David House, John Ray House, Malik Hodges and Kamiya Cole. Gregory Marigny was ring bearer.
Flower attendants were Corine William and Angela Davis. Program attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Darrin William and Lillie Smith.
A reception was held at the couple's home following the ceremony.
Assisting at the reception were Darrin, Corine and Nickie William, Glorinna House, Earstine Brown, Beverly Rousell, Raven House, Shatonia Johnson and Antonio House.
