Graveside services for Viola Hamacher will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Magnolia Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hamacher, 89, of Haines City, Fla., formerly of Meridian, died Monday, July 14, 2003, at Haines City Health Care Center. She was born in Meridian on Oct. 22, 1913, and moved to Haines City three years ago. She was a member of Enterprise Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Gary Hamacher of Winter Haven, Fla.; 40 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Hamacher.

FOREST Services for Juanita Cooner McDill will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Conehatta Baptist Church. Burial will be in Conehatta Memorial Cemetery. Ott and Lee Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. McDill, 80, of Conehatta, died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2003, in her home. She was an active member of the Conehatta Baptist Church and enjoyed working in her yard and flower beds.
She was a veteran of the Women's Army Corp. and served in World War II. She met her husband while both were serving their country.
Mrs. McDill was very patriotic, loved her country and was supportive of all military men and women both home and abroad.
Survivors include her son, Gary T. McDill and his wife, Elizabeth, of Conehatta; daughters, Sherry McDill of Brandon and Cheryl Lynn Kitchel and her husband, Dirk, of Charleston, S.C.; brothers, Howard Cooner of Birmingham, Ala., and J.W. Cooner of Detroit, Mich.; a sister, Betty Duck of Carbon Hill, Ala.; a grandson, Bradley T. "Brad" McDill and his wife, Brandi, of Gibbstown; and a great-grandson, Braxton T. McDill of Gibbstown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard T. "Pete" McDill.
Visitation will be today 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Graveside services for Pauline Hudnall Curtis will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Magnolia Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Robert Simmons officiating. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Curtis, 89, formerly of Meridian, died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2003, in Denton, Texas. She was born on Dec. 31, 1913, to J. Philip and Mary Lou Henson Hudnall in Neshoba County.
She married James Milton Curtis on Aug. 2, 1936. She was a 1936 graduate of Matty Hersee Hospital in Meridian and continued her private-duty nursing career until the mid-1970's.
Mrs. Curtis was a past president of the Meridian Nursing Association and active in the Mississippi Highway Patrolmen Wives' Association. She was a member of Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Margaret Deweese and a grandson, Thomas West, both of Denton, Texas; a granddaughter, Jeanette McGee and her husband, Darron, of Arlington, Texas; five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Johnnie E. Curtis and his wife, Rowena, of Meridian; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Milton; siblings, Ilda Hudnall, Rehon Hudnall and her twin, Molly Dennis, all of Meridian, Sula Hallman, Leona Crocker, Vivian Randle, Edna Hemphill, J.C. Hudnall and Raleigh Hudnall.
Memorials may be made to International Baptist Missions through Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church, 1318 15th Ave., Meridian MS 39301 or charity of choice.
Visitation will begin Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

SEBASTOPOL Services for Thomas Ray Charlie will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Conehatta with the Rev. David Hamm officiating. Burial will be the church cemetery. Milling Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Charlie, 60, of Conehatta, died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2003, in Conehatta.
Survivors include his daughter, Melinda Bell of Philadelphia; sons, Garth Charlie and Daron Charlie, both of Conehatta, and Elvin Jefferson of Philadelphia; 23 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Lou Jefferson, Elizabeth Anderson and Esterline Thomas, all of Conehatta; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter and two sons.

Services for James "Jim" Edwards will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny R. Hopson officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery in Toomsuba. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Edwards, 83, of Toomsuba, died Friday, Aug. 15, 2003, at DCH Health Care in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
Survivors include his son, Johnny Barfield and his wife, Johnnie, of Meridian; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home for George McDade, 73, of Scooba, who died Monday, Aug. 18, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for Helen Snowden, 83, of Meridian, who died Monday, Aug. 18, 2003, in her home.
