    Services for Mildred F. Key will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at DeKalb Baptist Church with the Rev. James Ruffin officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Garden Cemetery. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Key, 83, of DeKalb, died Wednesday, July 30, 2003, at Rush Foundation Hospital. She was a member of DeKalb Baptist Church and lived in Chattanooga, Tenn., before returning to DeKalb in 1978.
    Survivors include her husband, Otis P. Key of DeKalb; a daughter, Melinda Mahone of Cartersville, Ga.; three grandchildren, Key Mahone of Dothan, Ala., Peter Mahone of Cartersville and Lorraine Mahone Foster of Mobile, Ala.; five great-grandchildren, Will, Jordan and Graves Mahone, Morgan Dover and Cade Foster.
    Memorials may be made to DeKalb Baptist Church.
    Pallbearers will be Mike Pilgrim, Ted Dixon, Gene McArthur, Houston Jarvis, James Key and Dewitt Key.
    Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Services for Louise McFarland will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Jerry Johnson and Scottie Fulcher officiating. Burial will be in West Kemper Cemetery.
    Mrs. McFarland, 72, of DeKalb, died Wednesday, July 30, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Survivors include her husband, Harvey C. McFarland of DeKalb; daughters, Patricia M. Ryals and her husband, Shannon, of DeKalb, Pamela M. Allgood of New Boston, Texas, and Phyllis M. Fulcher and her husband, Scottie, of Butler, Ala.; sisters, Mildred Easterly of Lenexa, Kan., Ann Howington of Midway, Ga., and Leona McDaniel of Highpoint, N.C.; brothers, Andrew Leonard of Loughman, Fla., and Paul Leonard of Bristol, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her brother, Chester Leonard; sisters, Velamae Leonard and Yvonne Leonard; and a son-in-law, Dan Allgood.
    Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Services for Quennie Smith will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Peter United Methodist Church in Marion with the Rev. Kevin Carter officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Toomsuba. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Smith, 103, of Meridian, died Monday, July 28, 2003, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Survivors include her three daughters, Lillie M. Richardson, Christine Siloman and her husband, Charles, and Hazel Hall and her husband, Charles, all of Meridian; a son, Willie Harris and his wife, Claudia, of Englewood, N.J.; a sister, Virgie Lee Huff of Detroit; 33 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren and 34 great-great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husbands, parents and three children.
    Visitation will be Friday 7 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Private memorial services for Terry "Mitchell" Todd are planned. The Rev. Frank Thomas will officiate. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Todd, 55, of Meridian, died Monday, July 28, 2003, in his home.
    Survivors include his wife, Judy Todd; a daughter, Suzette Davis; a son, Michael Todd; a sister, Joyce Faucette; a brother, Vernon Todd; and several nieces and nephews, all of Meridian.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Debs and Inez Todd; and brothers, W.L. Todd and Bobby Todd.
    Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

    Services for Franklin D. Parnell were held May 29, 2003, at 11:30 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Danny Balint officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.
    Mr. Parnell, 70, of Meridian, died Tuesday, May 27, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Survivors include his sons, David Parnell and his wife, Naomi Ratcliff Parnell, Danny Parnell and his wife, Brenda Ricks Parnell, and Richard Parnell; a daughter, Denise P. Knost and her husband, Michael; granddaughters, Ashley Elizabeth Parnell and Melodye Marie Parnell; grandsons, Joshua Franklin Knost and Jacob Knost; sisters, Ellen Smith and Doris Wyche; and a special friend, Johnnie Wilson Parnell.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, Sarah Parnell and James Franklin Parnell; a brother, James Parnell; a sister, Alice Edwards; and an infant brother.
    Pallbearers were Curtis Alexander, Gerald Alexander, J.R. Wadell, James Todd, Alfred Stewart and Michael Blackledge.
    Honorary pallbearers were all A&B Electric employees.
    Arrangements were incomplete at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home for Archie Scarbrough Sr. of Quitman, who died Wednesday, July 30, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
