Abrams, Henderson

Jena Thompson Abrams and John Abrams announce the engagement of their daughter, Casey Jay, to Stacy Adam Henderson, son of Rhonda McCarty Doss and Jim Henderson.
The wedding will be Saturday, Oct. 4, 2003, at 7 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Meridian.
Miss Abrams is the granddaughter of Thelma Thompson of Meridian, George I. Abrams of Artesia and the late Johnnie Abrams.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Northeast Lauderdale High School and attended East Mississippi Community College on a soccer scholarship. She also attended Meridian Community College.
While at EMCC, she was a member of the women's soccer team. She has won numerous soccer awards and was 2001 Homecoming Queen at Northeast Lauderdale. She was received several Who's Who titles throughout school.
Miss Abrams is employed with Southern Publishing Company as a graphic artist.
Mr. Henderson is the grandson of Gladys Henderson and the late Robert Lee Henderson, Jacqueline Lackey and Willie Lackey and the late William McCarty, all of DeKalb.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Northeast Lauderdale High School and attended East Mississippi Community College and Meridian Community College.
While attending MCC, he was a member of IBEW Apprenticeship programs and graduated as a journeyman electrician.
Mr. Henderson recently attended Programmable Logic Controllers School in Birmingham, Ala.
He is employed at Mid-South Lumber as a maintenance electrician.
A reception will be held at the home of the bride-elect's grandmother Thelma Thompson, 3841 Old Highway 45 North in Meridian.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
