    NEWTON Services for Bessie Lee Pittman will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Browning officiating. Burial will be in Newton County Memorial Garden Cemetery.
    Mrs. Pittman, 82, of Decatur, died Monday, June 9, 2003, at Riley Hospital. She was a member of Beaulah Baptist Church.
    Survivors include her husband, James G. Pittman of Decatur; a daughter, Kathaleen Huey and her husband, Larry, of Decatur; a brother, Thelby Estes of Decatur; a granddaughter, Zolanda Ables and her husband, Tom, of Decatur; one grandson, James Huey and his wife, Karen, of Little Rock; and two great-grandchildren, Kelsi and Kizer Ables of Decatur.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, Isham and Vennia Estes; a brother, Thurlow Estes; and a sister, Audie Lee Estes.
    Pallbearers will be James Huey, Tom Ables, Randy Estes, Jeff Smith, William Huey and Bob Blackwell.
    Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Retired seamstress for La-Z-Boy South
    NEWTON Services for Myrtice Laurine Grantham Jones will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Ray Gibbs officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Jones, 80, of Chunky, died Monday, June 9, 2003, at Alliance Laird Hospital in Union. She was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.
    Survivors include her sons, Arthur Earl Jones of Anderson, S.C., and Wendell Jones of Bells, Tenn.; a sister, Bonnie Ferguson of Union; a brother, Harmon Grantham of Chunky; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
    Visitation will be today 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Services for Floyd Anthony "Tony" Reese will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with the Rev. Jerry Daniels officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Cemetery. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Reese, 43, of Mays Landing, N.J., died Sunday, June 1, 2003, at Atlantic City Medical Center in New Jersey.
    Survivors include his daughter, Kiesha Reese, U.S. Air Force, Pensacola, Fla.; parents, Frank Reese III and Irma Reese, both of Meridian; siblings, Teresa Reese, Harold Reese and Michael Reese, all of New York, and Darian Reese and Nikki Reese, both of Meridian; a nephew, Reese Marsalis of Durham, N.C.; and several other relatives and friends.
    Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

    Services for Arlin Clark Terry Sr. were held Saturday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Raymon Leake officiating. Burial was in Magnolia Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Terry, 87, of Meridian, died Friday, June 6, 2003, at Riley Hospital. He was a member of Marion United Methodist Church and the men's class for more than 40 years. He attended Mississippi State University and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in the South Pacific during World War II.
    He began his career in the field of construction in 1939 with the Austin Company in Freeport, Texas.
    In 1954, he founded Construction Services, Inc., where his legacy as a builder began. His imprint can be found among state and local schools, churches and commercial buildings.
    Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center, Rush Foundation Hospital, Riley Hospital, the chapel of St. Joseph Hospital, the H.M. Ivy Administration Building on the Meridian Community College campus and the downtown branch of AmSouth Bank were accomplishments that Mr. Terry took pride in.
    He served as president of the Mississippi General Contractors Association from 1969-1970. He provided scholarships for students in the vocational-technical programs as a member of the Meridian Community College Round Table.
    An avid golfer, he was a co-founder of Briarwood Country Club and built the golf course. He was a member of Northwood Country Club and served as president from 1975-1976. At one time he played the renowned St. Andrews Links course in Scotland.
    Survivors include his wife, Jane O'Dell Terry; sons, Arlin Clark "Butch" Terry and Roland Franklin "Pete" Terry Sr. and his wife, Donna, all of Meridian; sisters, Wilma Flannagan and Hazel Terry, both of Bailey, Elizabeth McKiethen and Eloise Terry, both of Meridian; a brother, the Rev. Wallace Terry of Bailey; seven grandchildren, Vashti Swancey of Enterprise, Christy Williams, Roland Terry, Clark Terry, Austin Terry, Albree Sanders and Leslie Carruth, all of Meridian; three great-grandchildren, Michael Swancey and Morgan Swancey, both of Enterprise, and Scottland Sanders of Meridian; three step-children, Charles Forbert and Lisa Forbert, both of Meridian, and Steve Forbert; and three step-grandchildren, Sam Forbert, David Forbert and Katherine Forbert of Nashville, Tenn.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Clara Terry of Bailey; brothers, Milton Moses Terry and James Terry, both of Bailey; a sister, Bonnie Ethridge of Union; and the mother of his sons, Mary Earle Hamrick Terry.
    Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
    Pallbearers were Roland Terry, Clark Terry, Michael Swancey, Steve Forbert, Charles Forbert, Joseph Sanders and Bill Carruth.
    Honorary pallbearers were the gentlemen of the 19th hole of Northwood Country Club.
    Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for Dawn J. York, 39, of Daleville, who died Tuesday, June 10, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
