Nordmeier, Richards

Susan Elizabeth Richards and Eric Lingo Nordmeier, both of Hattiesburg, were married Saturday, Feb. 22, 2003, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with the Rev. Elvin Sunds officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Mouise T. Richards of Meridian, and Mr. and Mrs. Eric Nordmeier of Hanapepe, Hawaii.
Grandparents of the bride are Mrs. Mouise Richards of Meridian and the late Mr. Richards, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Smith of Jackson.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Gaubatz of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Mr. and Mrs. Eric Nordmeier of Hanapepe.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Sue Shoffiette, flautist; and Henry Warnick, acoustical guitarist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a classic white satin wedding gown trimmed in pearls. She carried a clutch bouquet of spring flowers in varying shades of purples and she carried her mother's handkerchief made of Belgian lace in her bouquet.
Shelley Richards of Nashville, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor.
Greg Futral of Hattiesburg was best man. Ushers were Stephen Rose of Jackson and Jason Ford of Meridian. Rice bag attendant was Sarah Owen.
A reception was held in the church parish center following the ceremony.
Assisting at the reception were Karen Kyles Leffler, Judy Bullock and Michael Kilgore, all of Hattiesburg.
After a honeymoon in Colorado, the couple resides in Hattiesburg.
