MISS MCC 2003 CROWNED Danielle Rigdon, left, Miss Meridian Community College 2002, crowns Leanna McLaughlin, who won the title of Miss MCC 2003 Friday night. The daughter of Rose and James McLaughlin, the MCC coed was a double winner. She was awarded a $600 scholarship and received the top scholastic award during the program, which was held in MCC's McCain Theater. A graduate of Meridian High, McLaughlin plans to transfer to the University of Mississippi for a bachelor's degree in history. Her career goal is to work in the area of research or international relations. Submitted photo.
