SEBASTOPOL Services for Sandra Thompson will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Bogue Chitto Baptist Church with the Revs. Arthur Ben and Calvin J. Isaac officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Milling Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Thompson, 47, of Philadelphia, died Wednesday, April 16, 2003, in her home.
Survivors include her sisters, Brenda John and her husband Freddy, Peggy Thompson and Gail Willis and her husband, Gordon Jr., all of Philadelphia; three brothers, Christopher Steve Thompson Sr. and his wife, Norma, Cecil Thompson and Richard Thompson, all of Philadelphia; four aunts, five uncles, 21 nieces and nephews and seven great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Steve and Oneva Thompson, maternal grandparents, Will Thompson and Zina Henry and paternal grandparents, Mose Thompson and Jane Bell.

DEKALB Services for John Evan Persons will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Scooba United Methodist Church with the Rev. Charles Studdard officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Persons, 41, of Plano, Texas, died Sunday, April 13, 2003, in Dallas.
Survivors include his wife, Kiyomi Persons and a son, John Edd Persons, both of Plano, Texas; mother, Peggy Mae Persons of Westpoint; sisters, Linda Wilson and her husband, Nick of Jacksonville, Fla., and Lu Ann Jones and her husband, Micky, of Cleveland, Ohio; grandmother, Doris Aust of Columbus; nieces and nephews, Melissa and Kristin Wilson and Lauren and Christopher Jones and an aunt, Dianne Hopper and her husband, Frank.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Evan Persons; two grandfathers and one grandmother.
Visitation will be today from 5:30 p.m.- 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Ruthie Mae Coleman will be held Saturday at noon at Center Ridge Baptist Church in DeKalb with the Rev. Randall Bohannon officiating. Burial will be in Jerusalem Cemetery with Berry &Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Coleman, 74, of DeKalb, died Saturday, April 12, 2003, in Marietta, Ga.
Survivors include her husband, Odell Coleman of DeKalb; a daughter, Linda Coleman Liddell and her husband, Everly, of Marietta; two sons, Willie Marshall of Porterville; and Otis Coleman of Meridian.
She was preceded in death by her son, Henry Marshall.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Services for Jerome Dixon will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Clarkdale High School Multi-Purpose Building with the Rev. Rome Dixon officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Garden Cemetery with Clarke's Memorial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Dixon, 47, of Meridian, died Saturday, April 12, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine Dixon; a son, Brandon Dixon and a daughter, Lakeisha Dixon; mother, Jettie Dixon, all of Meridian; brothers, Herman Dixon and his wife, Francis, U.L. Dixon and his wife, Mildred, of Los Angeles, Edd Dixon Jr., Rome Dixon and his wife, Virgie, of Meridian, Wally Dixon of Columbus,Ga.; sisters, Cecil Baker and her husband, Floyd, of Los Angeles; and Scenelda Phillips and her husband, Jackie, of Meridian.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edd Dixon Sr.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. at the funeral home and Saturday one hour prior to the service at Clarkdale High School.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Nancy "June" Luke will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Revs. Ray Luke and David Richardson officiating. Burial will be in Coy Methodist Church Cemetery in Preston.
Mrs. Luke, 67, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, April 17, 2003, at Regency Hospital of Meridian.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald Luke of Philadelphia; daughters, Sandra June Poole of West Point, Linda Herring and Terrie Scarbrough, both of Philadelphia; sons, Herbert Gerald Luke of Preston and Richmond Earl Luke of Meridian; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Mildred Landrum of Preston, Julia Pettigrew of Lena and Bobbie Copeland of Preston; and a brother, Joe McArthur of Orlando.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, B.R. McArthur and James "Butch" McArthur.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.- 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Albert E. Jones Sr. will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Gunn officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mr. Jones, 68, of Meridian, died Wednesday, April 16, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Mardis Jones; a son, Albert E. Jones Jr. and his wife, Kelley; a brother, Lonnie Jones and his wife, Pat; and two grandchildren, Hampton and Haley Jones, all of Meridian.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert B. Jones and Marita Harvey Jones.
Pallbearers will be Michael Corrigan, Mike Beesley, Earl Everett, John Busby, Rush Laird and Ronny Hampton.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8p.m. at the funeral home.
