Atkinson, Barnes

Robert E. and Dianne Atkinson of Enterprise announce the engagement of their daughter, Karen Denyse, to Brian Christopher Barnes, son of Zee and Linda Barnes of Mantachie.
The wedding will be Friday, May 23, 2003, at 6:30 p.m. at Goodwater Baptist Church in Enterprise.
Miss Atkinson is the granddaughter of Deloris Joiner of Meridian and Trudie Clay of Lauderdale.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Enterprise High School and received her bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in counseling psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi.
Miss Atkinson is employed by Weems Community Mental Health Center as a mental health therapist.
Mr. Barnes is the grandson of Martha Barnes of Mantachie and Cliffie Marlin of Dyersburg, Tenn.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Tremont High School and received a bachelor's degree in history from Mississippi State University.
Mr. Barnes is attending Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson.
A reception will be held in t banquet room of Best Western of Meridian following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
