Burks, Warren

Sarah Denise Warren of Meridian and Glen Dale Burks Jr. of Meridian were married Saturday, July 13, 2002, at Freedom Rock Christian Fellowship Church with the Rev. Craig Tucker officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. John L. Warren and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Dale Burks Sr., all of Meridian.
Grandparent of the bride is Ruby Lockhart of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Josie Burks of Forest and Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Moore of Lake.
Nuptial music was provided by Marsha Thornton and Gloria Christian.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Matron of honor was Veronica Lewis of Meridian. Other attendants were La'Sonjia Hopson, Katherine Warren, Chiquita Hopson, Alicia Carter and Camelia Smith, all of Meridian.
Junior bridesmaids were Ashley Burks, Gequaondra Warren and Tanyera Brown, all of Meridian.
Marcus Raines of Meridian served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Ondray Harris Jr., Antonio Hodges, Santonio Brooks, Justin Dillard, George Mosley and Robert Seabrough, all of Meridian. Junior groomsmen were John Stevens and Quintin Warren, both of Meridian.
Program attendants were Randy Hopson and Marsha Thornton.
A reception was held at Meridian Little Theatre following the ceremony. Assisting were Randy Hopson, Denise Wright, Margie Terrell, Tracy Burks, Keesha Ellis, Dana Murrell, Marsha Thornton, Regina Elliott, Cassandra Hill and Vertisha Brooks.
After a honeymoon in Biloxi, the couple resides in Meridian.
