50th anniversary
Thomas F. and Audrey McKee Scarborough of Decatur will celebrate their 50th anniversary Aug. 2, 2002. The Scarboroughs will be celebrating be taking a seven-day Caribbean cruise. Their daughter, Janet Scarborough Green and her husband, the Rev. Dennis L. Green, and their daughter, Ashley, of Tillar, Ark.; their daughter, Cynthia "Cindy" Scarborough Canoy and her husband, Dr. Robert W. Canoy; and their two sons, Rob and Ryan of Shelby, N.C., will accompany them on the cruise. Thomas is a retired state of Mississippi employee and works for Ozark National Life Insurance Company and NIS Financial Services. Audrey is retired from the Newton Public School System and is a homemaker. They are members of Grace United Baptist Church.
30th anniversary
The Rev. and Mrs. David D. Loyd recently celebrated their 30th anniversary. They were married July 22, 1972, in the home of his parents, the Rev. and Mrs. Leroy Loyd. They have three children, Dianna, Jennifer and Brandi; and have four grandchildren. He is the pastor of Free Gospel Temple. Mrs. Loyd is the former Linda Williams of Whynot.
50th anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Milo K. Beesley Jr. were married at First Baptist Church in Miami, Fla., on July 27, 1952. They have two children, Angela B. Davis and Mike Beesley; and five grandchildren. They will celebrated their 50th anniversary at a dinner party with their family. Mrs. Beesley is the former Mildred L. Mills.
