Killen, McCarver

Cindy Killen of Meridian announces the engagement of her daughter, DeAnna Marie, to Dewayne McCarver, son of Londa McCarver and Alicia Moore of Huntsville, Ala. Miss Killen is also the daughter of the late Tim Killen.
The wedding will be Saturday, Sept. 14, 2002, at 6:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Meridian.
Ms. Killen is the granddaughter of Bobby and Mary Wilson, Joan McNeill and the late Cecil Killen, all of Meridian.
The bride-elect is a graduate of West Lauderdale High School and attended Mississippi State University.
While attending MSU, she was a member of the MSU Pom Squad from September 1999-2001.
Ms. Killen is employed by Rocket City Cheerleading and Dance, Inc. as the dance director.
Mr. McCarver is the grandson of Cornelia Robinson of Brunswick, Ga., and the late Raymond Robinson, and the late Jessie and Rhonda McCarver of Winchester, Tenn.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Sparkman High School and received a degree in criminal justice from Wallace State University.
Mr. McCarver is the president of Rocket City Cheerleading and Dance, Inc.
A reception will be held at Briarwood Country Club following the ceremony.
