    ETHEL MILLER COLEMAN
    Retired
    Services for Ethel Miller Coleman will be held Friday at 11:30 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
    Mrs. Coleman, 97, of Meridian, died Wednesday, July 3, 2002, at Benchmark Healthcare Center.
    She was born in Lowndes County and retired from Southern Railway System where she was chief clerk to the district freight and passenger agent.
    She was a member of First Baptist Church and sang in the choir. She was active in civic work; she had been a member of the Meridian Symphony Orchestra League; patron of the Meridian Little Theatre; a charter member and past president of Wattswood Garden Club; treasurer of Samuel Dale Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution; member of Colonial Dames; member of descendants of Valley Forge; Pilot Club of Meridian; League of Women Voters; past president Matinee Musical Club; past president and life member of Mississippi Federation of Music Clubs; and a life member of National Federation Music Clubs.
    Survivors include her husband, George Albert Coleman; a daughter, Georgia Coleman Davis, of Jackson; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her daughter, Betty Coleman Mynatt.
    Memorials may be made to Restore for Tomorrow Fund, First Baptist Church of Meridian, 701 26th Ave., Meridian, MS, 39301.
    Visitation will be Friday at 9:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
    FRED JACK JR.
    Services for Fred Jack Jr. will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church on 49th Avenue with the Rev. Zarary Operton officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Latimer Metropolitan Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Jack, 54, of Meridian, died Tuesday, July 2, 2002, at the VA Hospital in Jackson. He was a veteran.
    Survivors include his mother, Mylte Williams of Meridian; his father, Fred Jack Sr. of Milwaukee; a son, Mosi Jack of Washington, D.C.; brothers, Laverne Williams of Meridian, Paul Jack of Nashville, Douglas Jack of Florida, Dennis Jack and Steven Jack, both of Milwaukee; sisters, Dorothy Jack, Valora Bender, Rhonda Williams and Jacqueline Williams, all of Meridian, Mary Drummond of DeKalb, Lori Jack of Nashville and Stephanie Jack of Arizona.
    Visitation will be Friday from 1 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
    EUGENE BELL SR.
    Retired
    Services for Eugene Bell Sr. will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Pilgrim Progress Baptist Church with the Rev. Daryl Fluker officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Bell, 85, of Meridian, died Sunday, June 30, 2002, in Meridian. He was retired from Mississippi Action For Progress.
    Survivors include his wife, Peggy Amerson-Bell; two daughters, Amy Amerson and Tonya Amerson-Austin, all of Meridian; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a number of relatives and friends.
    Visitation will be Friday from 7 p.m.- 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    PEGGY LYNCH
    Homemaker
    Services for Peggy Lynch will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Rose Baptist Church in Quitman with the Rev. Washington McKenzie officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Lynch, 60, of Quitman, died Saturday, June 29, 2002, at Riley Hospital.
    Survivors include her daughters, Malissa Johnson of Quitman and Mary Harris of Milwaukee; two sons, Leonard Carter, of Los Angeles and James Johnson of Quitman; three sisters, Christine Stevenson and Ethel Evans, both of Rockford,Ill., and Mary C. Jones of Meridian.
    She was preceded in death by her parents.
    Visitation will be Saturday from 6 p.m.- 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
    LEMOS PAYNE
    Retired city of Meridian employee
    Services for Lemos Payne will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church with the Rev. James Granger officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Payne, 80, of Meridian, died Monday, July 1, 2002, in his home.
    Survivors include his wife, Emma Payne, of Meridian; one daughter, Lucille D. Willie of Shuqualak; four sisters, Annie Pearl Jones of St. Louis, Mary Ella Payne of Meridian and Quennie Mae Clark and Maude Lee Jones, both of Emelle, Ala.; four brothers, Thomas Earl Payne, Jessie Lee Payne, Frank Earl Payne, and Albert Henderson, all of Geiger, Ala.; seven grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
    He was preceded in death by his parents.
    Visitation will be Sunday from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

    NEWTON Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home for Annie Pearl Holyfield, 89, who died Wednesday, July 3, 2002, at Tomball Hospital in Tomball, Texas.
