PHILADELPHIA Services for Carolyn D. White were to be held today at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Ralph Fritsch officiating. Burial will be in Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery in the Tucker Community of Neshoba County. McClain-Hays Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. White, 58, of Louisville, died Monday, June 17, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include a special friend, Kenneth Glasgow of Louisville; daughters, Kimberly Winters of Louisville and Carol Winters of Philadelphia; a son, Christopher White of Philadelphia; brothers, Bobby Joe Deweese of Ft. Worth, Texas and Ralph Deweese of Philadelphia.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gus White.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Harold Ray "Shorty" Williamson will be held today at 3 p.m. at John E. Stephens Chapel with the Revs. Edward Shoemaker and Tom Brooks officiating. Burial will be in the High Hill Cemetery in Sebastopol.
Mr. Williamson, 64, of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, June 18, 2002, at the University Medical Center in Jackson.
Survivors include his companion, Nell May Williamson of Philadelphia; sisters, Anna Ruth Griffin of Union, Neda Faye Townsend of Harperville and Marie Gill of Carthage; and several nieces and nephews.
BOBBY EUGENE WHITTINGTON

GLOSTER Services for Bobby Eugene Whittington will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at New Salem Baptist Church with the Revs. Burnette Carraway, Gary Bowlin and Charles Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Brown Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Whittington, 50, of Gloster, died Tuesday, June 18, 2002, at Ochsner Medical Foundation in New Orleans. Mr. Whittington was the Superintendent of Education for Amite County. He was a member of New Salem Baptist Church and a master mason of the Gloster Lodge 399. He was also a member of the Mississippi Association of School Administrators and the Southwest Community College Board.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Rollins Whittington, a son, Brad Whittington and a daughter, Alicia Whittington, all of Gloster; two sisters, Faye Harper and her husband, Talmadge, of Meridian, and Sandra Byrd and her husband, Shorty, of Hattiesburg; two brothers, Kenny Whittington of Philadelphia and Douglas Whittington of Vicksburg; his stepfather, William Jackson of Meridian; his stepmother, Dorothy Whittington of Vicksburg; two uncles, Wendell Whittington and Otis Whittington; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mike and Patricia Foreman of Gloster; and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Reggie and Carolyn Rollins of Natchez.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Menton Whittington and Stella Fulton Whittington Jackson.
Pallbearers will be David Dixon, Dennis Whittington, Glen Whittington, Daniel Whittington, Mike Foreman, Bruce McLean, Scottie Whittington and Charlie Floyd.
Honorary pallbearers will be Sammy Buskirk and John Steele.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to service at the church.

Services for Laura Drake will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Unity Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Melvin Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Enterprise Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Drake, 97, of DeKalb, died Tuesday, June 18, 2002, in her home.
Visitation will be Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church.

Services for Alberta Barnett will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Harmon with the Rev. R.L. McDonald officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Enterprise Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Barnett, 79, of Meridian, died Saturday, June 15, 2002, in Meridian.
Survivors include her daughter, Jacqueline I. Barnett; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Berlena Blancherd; and a son, George Washington.
Visitation will be Friday noon-4 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. McCall, 29, of Toulon, France, died Sunday, June 9, 2002, in Nice, France.
