    After his retirement, he was appointed Newton County Youth Court Referee and served until 1990. He was a very active member of Decatur United Methodist Church, serving as Sunday school teacher and lay minister for many years. He was active in the American Legion, Masonic Lodge and a charter member and past president of the Decatur Lions Club.

    In 1989, he was chosen Man of the Year by the Greater Decatur Chamber of Commerce, an organization he served in as president.
    He was a past master and a 50-year member of Evergreen Lodge #77, F&AM. He was a member of the York Right Bodies and commander, Newton Commandery, Knights Templar #27 and a member of the Shriners Hamasa Temple in Meridian. Harold was a member of the American Legion Newton County Post #89, where he served as a past commander. He was appointed by President Richard M. Nixon as a member of the Advisory Committee to the National Commission of Veteran Affairs.
    Survivors include his wife, Nell Webb of Decatur; a son, Bill Webb, of Gulfport; daughters, Pam Jackson of Philadelphia and her husband, Mack; Tammy Dilorenzo of Long Beach and her husband, Ben; Grandchildren, Cassidy Elliott and her husband Chris, David and Hank Jackson, Adam and Emily Dilorenzo; great grandchildren, Courtney and McKinley Elliott, Dekota, Angie and Kasie Jackson.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, John J. Webb and Minnie Richard Webb; brothers, Cortez, Oral, Eugene and Richard; and his sisters, Thelma and Linnie.
    Pallbearers will be Bill Breidinger, Homer Burton, Charles Boggan, Mark Miller, Chris Elliott and Don Waldrop.
    Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Austin Boggan, Bill Rowzee, Hansel Reeves, Sidney Vanetten, Buddy Massey and Wilson Taylor.
    Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    DR. JOHN J. KLUK
    DENVER, Colo. Services for Dr. John J. "Jack" Kluk will be held Thursday in Denver.
    Dr. Kluk, a former resident of Meridian, died Saturday, April 27, 2002.
    Survivors include his wife Linda; three daughters, Melanie, Larissa and Tiffany; two grandsons; a sister, Anne Copeland Mattrick of Harrisburg, Pa., formerly of Meridian; two nieces and three nephews.
    The family requests that memorials be made to a favorite charity.
    CLARA ODEN JOHNSON
    Retired teacher
    Services for Clara Oden Johnson will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Raymon Leake officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
    Mrs. Johnson, 80, of Meridian, died Monday, April 29, 2002, at Beverly HealthCare-Broadmoor. She was a retired teacher with the Meridian Public Schools and a member of First Baptist Church.
    Survivors include two brothers, John C. Oden of Meridian and Arthur W. Oden and his wife, Miriam, of Stone Mountain, Ga.; sisters, Lorena McGrew, Reva Doris Brown and Birdie Holloway, all of Meridian, Lucy Henry of South Port, N.C., Jimmie Lee Mercer and her husband, Wesley, of Alpharetta, Ga., and Betty Jean Lindsay of Lawrenceville, Ga.; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Herchul V. Johnson; her parents, Sam and Maggie Oden; and a brother, Thad Oden.
    The family requests memorials be made to First Baptist Church of Meridian.
    Pallbearers will be Gerald Pogue, Tommy Lashley, Richard Holloway, Rich Holloway, Erick Lashley and Arthur Oden.
    Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    DAWN HOBSON CULPEPPER
    Services for Dawn Hobson Culpepper will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Malcolm Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery.
    Mrs. Culpepper, 36, of Meridian, died Sunday. April 28, 2002, in her home.
    Visitation will be Wednesday 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    ANNIE G. HENDERSON
    Retired school teacher
    Services for Annie G. Henderson will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at New Prospect Baptist Church in Savoy with the Rev. Odell Hopkins officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Ms. Henderson, 64, of Meridian, died Thursday, April 25, 2002, at the University Medical Center in Jackson.
    Survivors include five sisters, Ruby Lee Chambers of Jackson, Mattie Thames and her husband, Lane, of Texas, Sadie Lockhart, Myrtis Fountain and Gracie Hogan, all of Meridian; brothers, Lester Henderson of Arizona, Leodis Henderson of Florida and Billy Henderson of Meridian; an aunt, Ruth Henderson of Meridian; and two uncles, Andrew Lee Henderson and C.W. Dubose of Chicago; and several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleo Dubose Henderson and Jake Henderson; sisters, Lucille Henderson Hardaway and Patricia Henderson; and a brother, Joe Lee Henderson.
    Visitation will be Wednesday 7 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Arrangements were incomplete at Stephens Funeral Home for Ella Temple, 99, of Meridian, who died Monday, April 29, 2002, in her home.

    Arrangements were incomplete at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home for Roy L. Stokes, 49, of Slidell, La., who died Friday, April 26, 2002, at Slidell Memorial Hospital.
    THEODORE DUBOSE
    Arrangements were incomplete at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home for Theodore Dubose, 62, of Meridian, who died Sunday, April 28, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
