Hedgemon, Poole

Shaunta Michelle Poole of Hattiesburg and LaBaron Hedgemon of Meridian were married Sunday, March 24, 2002, at the Jackie Dows Center in Hattiesburg, with the Rev. Samuel Newton officiating. Prayer was provided by the father of the bridegroom, the Rev. Henry Matthews.
Parents of the couple are Henry and Eartha Matthews of Meridian; Mary Poole of Hattiesburg and Ransom Poole of Pensacola, Fla.
Grandparent of the bride is Pauline Poole.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Willie and Pauline Key and Henry and Lillie Matthews.
Nuptial music was provided by Louis Ball, pianist; and Marcus Matthews, soloist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Alisha Poole of Hattiesburg, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor.
Marcus Matthews of Meridian was best man. Groomsman was Kenneth Floyd Jr.
A reception was held at Jackie Dows Community Center following the ceremony.
After a honeymoon in Kissemee, Fla., the couple resides in Hattiesburg.
