MACON Services for Lena Penner Koehn will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at South Haven Mennonite Church with the Revs. Leo Classen and Larry Giesbrecht officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Cockrell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Koehn, 87, of Macon, died Tuesday, April 2, 2002, in her home.
Survivors include her husband, Arthur Koehn of Macon; daughters, Edrie Unruh and her husband, Waldo, of Versailles, Mo., Glenda Unruh and her husband, Harlan, of Louisville, Ga., and Annora Frierson and her husband, Melvin, of Buhl, Idaho; sons, Myron Koehn and his wife, Elva, Arlin Koehn and his wife, Ellen, a daughter-in-law, Frances Koehn, all of Macon; brothers, John Penner and his wife, Ida, of Moundridge, Kan., Fred Penner and his wife, Elizabeth, of Fairview, Okla.; sisters, Frances Boehs of Montezuma, Kan., Elise Nightingale and her husband, Harlan, of Fairview; a brother-in-law, Alfred Boehs of Isabella, Okla.; 21 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
TENNESSEE BENDER
Retired teacher with Friends of Children
Services for Tennessee Bender will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Mt. Jordan UM Church with the Rev. Luderick Cameron officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Bender, 88, of Pachuta, died Tuesday, April 2, 2002, in her home.
Survivors include two daughters, Helen Byrd of Pachuta and Nora Bender of Denver; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Visitation will be Friday 7 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service.
WILLIE LOFTON
Retired from Southern Railroad
Services for Willie Lofton will be held Saturday at noon at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Russell. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Lofton, 93, of Russell, died Monday, April 1, 2002, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include three daughters, Lela Finley of Detroit, Juanita Phillips of Cincinnati and Sylvia D. Hopkins of Daleville; sons, Willie Lofton Jr. of Meridian, Robert Lofton of Lavonia, Ga., Luther Lofton of Charlotte, N.C., and V. Lofton of Hattiesburg; 20 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife and a daughter.
Visitation will be Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church.
