PHILADELPHIA Services for Oliver Files Jr. were to be held today at 10 a.m. at John E. Stephens Chapel with the Revs. Dennis Duvall and Ray Files officiating. Burial was to be in Poplar Flat Cemetery in Winston County.
Mr. Files, 69, of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2002, at Alliance Health Center in Meridian.
Survivors include three sisters, Ollie Sue Easterwood of Noxapater, Joyce Williamson and Barbara Sullivan of Philadelphia; two brothers, Leon Files of Philadelphia and Charles Files of Louisville.
WILLIAM RAY ROSE

Graveside services for William Ray Rose will be held today at 2 p.m. at New Bethel Cemetery with the Rev. Terry Upchurch officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Rose, 77, of Meridian, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2002, in his home. He was a member of Blackwater Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Peggy Pickard and her husband, Ronald R., and a son, Billy Rose, all of Meridian; grandchildren, Jeremy Pickard of Ft. Myers, Fla., Ronnie Jerome Pickard and Ronald Eric Pickard and his wife, Rayne, all of Meridian; a brother, Leroy Rose and a sister, Josephine Whitt, both of Meridian.
Pallbearers will be Steve Pickard, Tiny Marshall, Rodney Davidson, Casey Dearman, Randy Harper and Roger Robinson.

Services for Henry Edward "Buddy" Marcum Jr. will be held Friday at 11:30 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richie Davis officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mr. Marcum, 62, of Meridian, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his daughter, Jackie Fontenot of Panama City, Fla.; sons, Michael Marcum of Meridian and Richard Marcum of the Zero Community; his mother, Althea Marcum; a sister, Barbara Stokes; grandchildren, Kristi Fontenot, Joshua Fontenot, Dustin Marcum and Bryan Marcum.
He was preceded in death by his father, H.E. Marcum Sr.; and a sister, Billie Jean Renfrow.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
MARY INEZ MARTIN

Services for Mary Inez Martin will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Dr. Malcolm Lewis and Charlie Arnold officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Martin, 77, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2002, at Guardian Angel Hospice. She was a member of Northcrest Baptist Church and retired from Meridian Public Schools.
Survivors include her husband, John Paul Martin of Meridian; children, Kenneth P. Martin and his wife, Debra, of Vicksburg, Robert J. Martin and his wife, Masayo, of Kaneohe, Hawaii, Sheila Gail Kowall and her husband, David, of Enterprise; five grandchildren, Becky Dennis, Laura Martin, Joshua Martin, Evelyn Kowall-Smith and Pete Kowall; a great-grandchild, Angel Beckham; three sisters, Maggie Lou Petrie of Helena, Ark., Dolly Sanders and her husband, Jessie, of Helena and Margaret Wilson of Mt. Home, Ark.
The family requests memorials be made to Northcrest Baptist Church Building Fund.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Wilson, Joshua Martin, Pete Kowall, Jim Dennis and Chris Smith.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for James B. "Pop" Fields will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Mike Boles and Keith Grubbs officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Fields, 72, of Meridian, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2002, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Fields of Meridian; four daughters, Barbara Bailey and her husband, Roy, of Columbus, Cathy Britt of Ethelsville, Ala., Cheryl Lundy and her husband, Joe, and Deborah Raines, all of Meridian; two sons, Franklin Howse and Dwight Howse, both of St. Louis, Mo.; a sister, Doris McAdams and her husband, Lacy, of Ethelsville, Ala.; a brother, Billy Fields and his wife, Doris, of Meridian; 11 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Willie Mae Barnwell will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Poplar Springs Baptist Church in Enterprise with the Rev. S.M. Robinson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with E.E. McDonald Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Barnwell, 84, of Meridian, died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2002, at Heartfelt Hospice.
Survivors include two sisters, Dessie Ree Wilson and her husband, Otis, of Enterprise and Margie Norman of Meridian; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Visitation will be Friday 2 p.m.-7 p.m. at E.E. McDonald Community Chapel in Meridian and one hour prior to the service at the church.
IDA AUSTIN

Services for Ida Austin will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at First Tabernacle Church of God with the Rev. Charles Miller officiating. Burial will be in Daleville Cemetery with Enterprise Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Austin, 96, of Daleville, died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Moses Austin.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
EDITH LEVY
Graveside services for Edith Levy were held Wednesday in Dallas, Texas. Sparkman-Hillcrest Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Levy, 77, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2002, in Dallas.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol.

Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home of Newton for Floyd Robert Godwin, 81, of Newton, who died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2002, at Bedford Nursing Center in Newton.

Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for Cecil Melton, 81, who died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2002, at King's Daughters and Sons Rest Home.
