Services for Willie Lee Mosley will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Oak Grove CME Church in Lauderdale. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Mosley, 68, of Fort Dodge, Iowa, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2002, in Fort Dodge.
Survivors include a daughter, Lenora Bell; two sisters, Mattie Mosley Hill of Fort Dodge and Bessie Lee Carr of St. Paul, Minn.; brothers, Earlie B. Mosley, Edward Mosley and Johnny Mosley, all of Fort Dodge and Ned Mosley of Brooklyn; and three half-sisters.
MILDRED MAGGARD PENNINGTON
Memorial services for Mildred Maggard Creel Pennington will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Hebron Church in Meridian, with the Rev. Albert Creel, her former brother-in-law, officiating.
Mrs. Pennington, 68, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002, in a North Little Rock nursing home. A native of Lauderdale County, she was at one time a longtime resident of Columbia where she was employed by the A&P Store. In her later years she was a bookkeeper and homemaker in Little Rock, Ark.
Survivors include her husband, Harlan Pennington of Redfield, Ark.; a brother, Charles Maggard of Meridian; a sister, Doris Maggard Moffett of Water Valley; two sons, Gerald Creel of Columbia and C.W. Creel of Redfield, Ark.; a daughter, Janice Williamson of Tallahassee, Fla.; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Maggie-Corina Smith Maggard; father, West; five brothers, James Raynell, Eugene W., Cecil, Jimmie and J.W. Maggard; and a sister, Stella Maggard Minor Mcrae.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to Merrehope Home in Meridian.

DEKALB Services for Roberta B. Naylor will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Mendon Zion Primitive Baptist Church in Porterville with the Rev. Chris Parker officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Herbon Cemetery in Porterville. E.E. McDonald Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Naylor, 69, of Porterville, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2002, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include seven daughters, Earlene Jackson and her husband, Johnny, Dorothy J. Hatch and her husband, George, Rita F. Lard and her husband, K.C., Linda Hatch, JoAnn Naylor, Nettie B. Naylor and Brenda Sledge and her husband, Robert Lee, all of Porterville; sons, Willie Naylor and his wife, Debra, of Moultrie, Ga., LeRay Naylor of Porterville, Tracy Naylor and his wife, Erika, of DeKalb and Marvin Naylor of Porterville; a daughter-in-law, Virginia Naylor of Atlanta, 40 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; sisters, Martha M. Wright of Lauderdale, Katie R. Crestwood and her husband, Albert, of York, Ala., Lucille Hill and her husband, Alfronzo, of Porterville; brothers, Jacob Boyd of Chattanooga, Tenn., Mosie Boyd and his wife, Dorothy, of Prentiss, George Boyd and his wife Dorothy, Wash Boyd and his wife, Mattie, Willie R. Boyd and his wife, Ruby, all of Lauderdale; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a son.
Visitation will be Friday 7 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

MILTON, Fla. Memorial services for Dorothy Lynn Garst were held Tuesday at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Serenity Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Garst, 62, formerly of Meridian, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2002, in her home.
Survivors include her step-son, Chris Garst of Cheboygan, Mich., four step-grandchildren; a sister, Margaret A. Smith of Milton; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Tom and Laurie Wright of Binghamton, N.Y.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Garst.
