COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. Services for Wayne T. Bailey will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the United States Air Force Academy Community Center Chapel. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Bailey, 56, a native of Meridian, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2001, in Englewood. He served 24 1/2 years in the United States Army. He was a lieutenant colonel.
Survivors include his wife, Tina Solis; a son, Thomas Solis Bailey; a daughter, Michelle Solis Bailey; two brothers, Louis Joseph Bailey Jr. and Charles Patrick Bailey; three sisters, Mary Evelyn Romero, Teresa Ann LaBiche and Kathryn Marie Powell.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Claudia S. Bailey; his father, Louis Joseph Bailey Sr.; two nieces, Rosemary LaBiche and Christianne Michelle Bailey.
The family requests memorials be made to the Thomas and Michelle Educational Fund, c/o ENT Federal Credit Union, P.O. Box 15819, Colorado Springs, CO 80935 or a favorite charity.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home. A vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday following the visitation.

Arrangements were incomplete at Berry &Gardner Funeral Home for Charlie W. Moore, 77, of Lauderdale, who died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2001, at Riley Hospital.
